'40s BIG BANDS & STANDARDS

Before there was Rock 'n Roll dance music, young party-goers jitterbugged, bopped and swayed to music of the big swing bands. Romantic torch songs by the popular "crooners" of the day also packed the dance floors. You can still take a "Sentimental Journey" and get "In The Mood" with music from the Big Band era. The Big Band sound returned in the late '90s with million-selling acts like the Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The Cherry Poppin' Daddies and Lou Bega.
